Library Services
A Study of Value and Impact
Working in partnership with a local school librarian, I spent 3 months conducting an in depth study of the value the library brought to the stakeholders of the school, and the impact the library had on the students
Information Management
I worked in collaborative settings to complete projects focused on database construction, use, and implementation.
Information Policies
Examining key components of laws, regulations, and practices which affect libraries and education, I wrote several academic papers concerning topics like access and privacy.
Data Analytics
I dipped my toe in the ocean of computer programming languages to better understand their purpose, possible uses, and production possibilities.
Foundational Skills

Apparel Design
A life time ago I studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology where I completed a degree in Fashion Design. The path of life then led me to work as the lead designer for a bridal salon in Austin and on the costume team for the Texas Opryland theme park Fiesta Texas (now Six Flags).

Mentoring through Scouts BSA
I grew up camping and hiking with my family. As an adult, I have come to recognize the value of volunteer work. In addition to a balancing a full-time job while being a full-time graduate student, I maintained my volunteer participation in an organization I have seen raise people up and help youth blossom into considerate, contributing citizens.
